Southerners/conservatives hate that evil education

The South broke away from the union and was founded on slavery. Its in their founding documents and speeches by their founders. Maybe you should be the one doing some reading and learning. Facts don't lean liberal or conservative, they just are.

I knew all this because I went to school when kids were actually taught something other than how to put a condom on a banana.

I am good with statues Generals Lee, Jackson, Davis.
But I think we should add statues of General Mahone, Harrison Riddleberger, Parson Massey, William Cameron.
But you conservatives have (probably) never heard of them.
There are two sides to ignorance.

@imLobo i'm partly irish american so i'm aware of white slaves, namely my irish kin in servitude.
i'm also aware of black slave owners and purveyors.
the whole historical narrative is necessary. partials are violence.

@imLobo well. it is hard to know the intentions of others.
i do know that conservatives and liberals have both distorted the hell out of american history to creative narratives that are palatable to their base and which rationalize their interests.
