He knocked Jimmy Carter off the throne of being WORST president ever. He HATED America and did his best to destroy it.

@LadyJuneBug: Being a good person doesn't make you an effective leader.

Noone in this world has been worse than Bush. Losing 700000 jobs in one month along with 3.5 million jobs was an epic disaster. The 70s still saw growth way more than we did during the late 2000s. Thats a fact. Read.☺

@curiosi: Carter will be an icon when he us gone. His humanitarian works will speak for him

@Zonuss: The bad over shdows all the good they did. I would consider bush the worse...

@nedkelly: I respect him for his contributions to Habitat for Humanity, he didn't just talk about supporting it but got out there and helped build homes.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti: In Australia we would say - got off his arse and helped without the media being with him all the time

@nedkelly: rolled up his shirt-sleeves and got his hands dirty...seems like most of these other ex-president's wouldn't risk mixing in with the "little people" that way, a quick photo op when they want to keep their name in the news and then off on their way.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti: little people = the common man / women in the street - the only time you see the president or senators if they are having a photo

@nedkelly: I think if I ever came into a lot of money I'd be helping Habitat for Humanity, would love to build a community of tiny homes for people who don't have a lot of money for property taxes, utilities or heating & a/c.... My city is building a tiny house community for the homeless but it's not property they can buy and pay for and get equity so it's a short-term solution. I know two individuals, both older single men, who could benefit from such a home, it would be big enough for what they need without breaking their budget.

@nedkelly: He is an icon. Gets more respect worldwide than both Bushs combined. And that is saying a lot.🙂

@nedkelly: Patti has a victim mindset among other things. But when shes sensible she makes valid points.🙂
