I don't believe you saw the real Trump on the campaign. People who knew him for years who were his friend said thats not actually what he's like and were confused why he was acting like that. he did it for the votes. Now that he's won i think you'll start to see the real trump come out, whether he is actually the man you saw on the campaign trail or not.
