Why do you suppose singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has never publicly acknowledged a great favor that Trump did for her and her family?

In 2008, following the tragic murders of her mother, brother, and nephew in Chicago, Donald Trump's team offered Hudson and her relatives complimentary, secure lodging at the Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago so they could grieve privately away from the media. While Trump openly confirmed the arrangement to the press at the time, Hudson did not publicly discuss the gesture or release a statement thanking him.
