I’ve already learned way more than I wanted to. The more I know about him, the less I’m able to view his demise with any empathy.

With some people, after their passing you learn what goodness the world has lost.

For me, with Charlie Kirk it’s worked in reverse. I’ve learned just how much of a horrid racist he was. So I can only conclude his supporters either didn’t know, or they agreed with him. 🥺

@DarthInvader This is the reason I try not to revisit this sort of thing for too long.

It would be very easy to hate with things I’ve experienced firsthand. I was talking about that with my sister this morning.

But when you hate, you miss out on the good people that are still out there. And that would not serve me well.

@bijouxbroussard Indeed. I just wanted to display the hypocrisy for even themselves to see since they keep claiming the left are demonic for celebrating. Well... They've got some soul searching to do.
