@Lugwho I was there for Leeds First Friday in August this year. It has a good municipal museum, good bus service, lots of nightlife, and there is a modern tradition of fancy dress gatherings at weekends, especially in Headingley it seems. I was told by one of the locals in the 21 Co. cafe in Headingley that people come from as far afield as London just to walk the streets and go to clubs in fancy dress.
