My mind, moments from drifting off to sleep: Remember Leland Thomas…that dude you had a massive crush on freshman year, was a giant compared to you but at like 6’6” but was also such a sweet teddy bear of a guy? The guy you can still envision the smile of 30 some odd years after seeing it? I wonder what he’s up to these days.

Apparently he’s still around our hometown. Married. A father. And still has the same smile that reaches his eyes. I’m convinced this is the only reason Facebook still exists…to answer these random curiosities at midnight when our mind decides to go through its junk drawer 😒

FB exists to exert biased influence and divide the masses.

But yes, you can find other uses for it.

It's how I got back in touch with my first childhood sweetheart after 30+ years, 7 years ago. The girl from the 5 pinned stories on my profile.
I should probably write the next part of that sometime soon.
