I'm at work. Depressed af lately. Someone share some good news.

I can't believe I'm relying on the internet for this but I'm constantly around bad news, I can't stand it. Someone give me some serious, relevant, world news that's positive, please?

I don't need jokes, I don't need sarcasm, I tried posting this under "friends only" and got no responses. Can I ask this favor of random people on the internet?

I'm about to get into an argument aren't I. 😮‍💨

Good news, eh? Okay, yesterday my fiance and I took a couple out on her fishing boat for a relaxing afternoon on the Sound dropping hooks and reeling them in. The couple, from New York, was with us for the second time having first accompanying us on a sunset champagne cruise Sunday night.

They are here on the Cape for a week escaping the hustle & bustle of Manahattan. So we've now spent eight hours total with them and I think we've actually got two new friends. They want to know if we are ever get to "the City" (a somewhat arrogant nickname New Yorkers have for their city -- but then I call Cape Cod "the Cape" as if it is the only one, so ... 🤷‍♀). And they want us to stay in touch.
