It’s like August hit and all of a sudden we were blessed with hoa hoa weather (cool temps and misty rain).

And I was all about that comfiness today despite having to work.


Yep. The minute I walked into work with an oversized sweatshirt, one of my coworkers gasped and said I was going to sweat my balls off. But instead I protected my wrist from steam burns (something I’ve missed greatly in cooler months) and felt another level of comfort in general as the usual chaos presented itself. That comfort even carried over into the meeting I conducted this afternoon to address my crew on a few things I needed to praise them for, as well as address some issues they needed to work on even though the worst is behind us.

Crazily enough, it was one of the best shifts of this season, and I owe it all to this very brief and absolutely beautiful taste of fall 😌
