My favorite part of the day is right now 😌
Everything that encompassed the day is now in the rear view mirror.
I’ve showered to wash all the ugh of the day away.
It’s quiet after having to endure a chatty male teenage Cathy at work, but not too quiet that I’m left alone with my thoughts.
My dinner took all of one minute to prepare.
My feet are being rubbed as I lean back against the sturdy pillows that welcome me to let all the weight of the day go.
The day wasn’t perfect by any means, but at least this moment is. Sometimes that’s all we get. Moments. And while they don’t seem like much, while we’re in them they’re everything.
