Despite the little rain cloud that’s been present since I woke up, I still get far too much enjoyment from silly things.

Like 68°, sunshine, getting dirt under my nails as I give seedlings a comfy place to call home, cleaning the kitchen after taking a day off from it, giving myself side swept bangs, and giving in to an uninterrupted new season of Tell Me Lies.

I want to remember days of the simple joys before I’m knee deep in work again. That chaos…I don’t even want to think of it. And I won’t. Instead I’ll turn my attention to the now, the moment before me, and perhaps the awesomeness of making breakfast for dinner tonight.
