Something nifty I discovered today as someone who lives a good 20 miles from the nearest decent sized town.

Instacart delivers to our area. Walmart isn’t a retailer included on the list but Kroger is and as we begin to get low on a few staples…that felt like Christmas at my fingertips. My husband works long hours and I don’t feel comfortable enough to get back behind the wheel yet, so to restock our pantry with a process that took maybe an hour and a half from start to finish was such a win in my little book of blessings. And I celebrated with eating a croissant I had been craving for weeks.

Now that I’ve hit the level of exhaustion that comes with finding a doctor’s office for the next step, I can go back to the Hell’s Kitchen/Minecraft binge that was my entire weekend, along with a nap or two knowing that I can momentarily turn off the brain for the rest of the day. It’s not an ideal Monday, but I’ll take it considering.
