I Love Making People Happy
that group's name is basically my little brother's way of thinking, the number of times he told me that exact same sentence is too much to count, if someone were to personify an anti-depressant, you'd get this kid, if he sees [i]anyone[/i] being sad, even complete strangers, he'll immediatly walk up to them and cheer them up with sweet words, a big hug, and heaps of love, and if you're one of his friends (a very easy thing because he's very outgoing and loves to make new friends), well, i hope you like hugs, cause he'll give you lots, LOTS of them, whether to cheer you up, as thanks for something you did/said that made him happy, or just because he wanted to, this kid's cure to every problem a person could have is love and hugs, hell, this kid even stopped a bully once just by talking to him and understanding why he was acting like that, no need for violence or any punishements, just love and empathy (turns out the kid's situation at home sucked a fair bit)
i'm every day immensely proud of having this little ball of cuteness and love as my little brother, and eventually i found the perfect sort of "gift" for him, you know the whole "FREE HUGS" deal ? on a week-end i basically took him to the market place and got him to do exactly that, and holy crap was it effective, not only he was loving it, but you could really see the way people were happier after that, it warmed [i]everyone[/i]'s heart to see all the love this little guy could dish out, and in fact he loved it so much he insisted that we did this again the next weekend, so very often on weekends i'll let him do his FREE HUGS thing, just staying there watching over to be safe that nothing bad happens
sometimes i really wish loving behavior like this were more common and could spread like a "virus", this world doesn't need guns, or war, it needs love and hugs!
