Kindness is undoubtedly the most powerful thing.
Today my car broke down on my way to work, on a day when I had to be in early for a business critical project review. And I had no signal on my phone to call my recovery company.
Out of nowhere a group of men on their way to a construction site turned up, looked to see if there was something they could fix - and when they couldn’t they towed me to the nearest garage, and even stuck around to give me a lift to work.
Normally, tiny me in a van with 3 big guys I don’t know would be a nightmare, but they were so kind I could have wept with relief. I’ve hidden in their van chocolate bars with a thank you on a post-it note for them to find later.
My faith in people just skyrocketed
