A little story about kindness

So a few days ago I was sleeping and I kept getting message pings on my phone, usually I don't wake up from message pings. I'm a huge deep sleeper, sometimes I doubt I wake up during a zombie apocalypse or a earthquake. Anyways a friend of mine that I didn't know very well needed to talk because she felt unsafe alone and she was having bad thoughts, for some reason woke up and messaged her right away. She called me on messenger and I talked to her and listened. The phone call didn't last long, maybe 15 or twenty minutes max.
The next day she told me I saved her life, and I was wow I'm glad you are here. And I asked because I don't think I did much and she told me I was kind to her...
Then I broke into tears knowing that kindness saved her life, honestly kindness is necessity.
Honestly if that saved her life that probably means she doesnt get kindness often and now I'm thinking about it over and over again.
I wish people would be more kind to other people.
