Being kind gets a lot easier when you realize most people aren’t trying to be mean

they’re stressed, scared, tired, or just dealing with stuff they don’t know how to handle. What looks like a flaw in them is usually just what’s going on underneath.

The more you understand this, the less you judge and the more you respond with patience and boundaries instead of anger. Compassion does not excuse harm, but it helps you see the human being behind the mistake.

We all carry something. A little more understanding can change more than we realize.

How’d you get to be so wise?

You get it though. You really do and I love that you put reminders like this out there for others. The world can get a bit noisy, even the world that lives inside us. Clarity like this helps us redirect the chaos trying to brew overhead into the calmer skies that are greatly needed.
