Cant think of anything recent.
Went on a field trip during winter in 3rd grade. We cane out of the venue and our school bus wasn't outside. The venue wouldn't let us back in and it was very cold.
The teacher walked us down the street to a coffee shop and bought the whole class hot chocolate while we waited for the school bus.
