Today's Been A Great Day So Far...

Before I went to bed, I found that mystery ice cream.
Then I went to sleep, and had the most pleasant dream. (I half-expected to wake up in my dream)
I got showered, and managed to accidentally fix a major plumbing issue that's been plaguing my house for months.
I went for the first walk I've been able to manage in over a month (rehabbing from leg surgery)
And now I'm just basking in the glow of it.

I'm looking forward to doing more laundry tomorrow. It's weird, but I've really been enjoying doing laundry lately.

I'm still a miserable, judgmental, critical, angry, psychotic dumbf*ck curmudgeon,, but this is the happiest I've been in years.

@Bang5luts When you hate most people as much as I do, it's hard to find joy. Don't get me wrong, I can be congenial af, but I have a hard time believing friendship is anything more than liking someone because you haven't found the one thing to hate about them.

@SnailTeeth I guess I can understand feeling that way. That's a difficult way to live or have to perceive the world.
