I will forever be grateful to the woman who hired me 25 years ago

I’ve been employed at the same agency for 25 years. I have learned so much and I have incredible memories . Three of the people who worked there when I first got hired recently passed away . One of was the woman who hired me 25 years ago . I will forever be thankful that she took a chance on me. She was a wealth of knowledge and she brought so much to our clients. She truly cared about the developmentally disabled population.

I have been working at the same place for 24 years. I plan to work another 9.

My first boss, who retired a while ago, died two years ago. He was ill. I never knew. There was no service due to Covid. He taught me a lot about my field and the job.

In the past few years, three other people I worked with have died, two after retirement.
