I Am Grateful

[image deleted]Three girls in their early 40s having a girls' talk....☺. We met during the tour. I mentioned before: one is a flight stewardess, beautiful and graceful, married to a politician, but now separated, had an early retirement, to take care of her autistic son; another one was a glamorous journalist from NY, divorced, lost her job, went back home; and there was me.

We are proud of our dirty hands! We don't get them that by being fabulous, drinking coffee or tea out of dainty cups. We get them by working hard. They are not pretty hands, but they are strong and capable to make the most of what is left of our shattered lives. 🙂

And we stand as evidence of God's love and mercy.

I always looked up to Mom for my example of a woman that worked hard in the male playground and watched her succeed at it while raising a family as a single parent. I was a page when the ERA was in the state legislature in 1972.

You are right though, a woman can get just as dirty working and playing as much as anyone else.
Whew I tired myself out there. 😅

I got a very nice humidifier from Macy’s
and you know about the Kohl’s visit.
