Do Good, But Be Careful

I help others when I can, but I have had it turned into trouble 😞. I helped a lady in a wheelchair get in an elevator at my apartment building. I stopped the door from closing, so it wouldn't hit her or hurt her. I attempted to place my hand in the path of the closing door, but the door closed, actually only the inside door from the elevator closed. I got a letter from the management saying I was responsible for paying for the repairs to the elevator.
Doing the RIGHT thing can COST YOU!
