First real charitable donation went out today

I have been saving money on the side since the year started for charity. I'm not helping my friend anymore, so I must repay my debt to society by other means. I've always felt that Wikipedia gives society a lot of value. They don't run ads or anything and they have pretty low expenses for the service they provide. I gave them $1,100 as a one-time gift, which averages out to $12.94 a year over the course of my life if I live to 85. I am often skeptical of non-profits but I think this one is more than worth it.
