Helping neighbors ordeal

I had taken her to the gynae, on appointment , the next day who gave her some medication and an intravenous before putting her to bedrest for 30mins,,,,Same day late-evening she had bleeding as per doctor and after a days rest she was perfectly ok..She had called me and thanked but said i was invited to attend her party on sunday when she had called her friends. I agreed hesitantly as this was a girls 35-30+yrs gathering and likely with singing and dance or fashion ramp walks .The venue was a farmhouse about 50kms off by metro. However after repeated and aggressive invites i had to accept...As sunday was 4 days later i had put this away but was promptly reminded as i awoke that i would be accompanied by her at 6 pm today.
