Tonight will be another entertain the ole man, he's hurt again by his mean older brother who says stuff like don't give me any of your stupid sermons, dad's not got a thick skin, wouldn't last a full minute on here!!

Streets of San Francisco -- oh i loved watching this, the actual footage of the 70's.
Mannix -- this might give daddy the biggest boost, to see his ideal inner self solving those high risk jobs.
and then at this point i'd maybe put on a contemplative Koreeda film, like Still Walking, which would promptly put dad to sleep, and then when he'd wake up i'd have his most hated thing ever playing, CHUCKY, nahhhh i'd more likely have a b/w Outer Limits show on, to which he'd comment that this is weird 10 times in less than 5 minutes.
If time allows i'd cap it all off with Abel Gance's 7 and a half hour silent film Napoleon.
