Werifesteria

Werifesteria

To wander longingly through the forest in search of mystery ’

Words evolve, some disappear and new ones are made.

Werifesteria is a new word created around 2014 when social media began using it in images of people who love meandering in forests.I think it's a lovely word to describe what forest lovers do, looking for that sense of wonder and magic nature gifts us with.

What a lovely word. I do walk in the forest and often hope to see something I know is there but never see.
@meggie

It is lovely, indeed. I often walk in forests too and there is always this feeling of expectancy that something beautiful will catch my eye. Perhaps, like you say, there are magical things too that we can't see but are there 😊

Nature is soothing, calming and relaxing. It’s wonderful way to be at peace with ourselves.
@Nick1

I agree. I always leave the forest feeling rejuvenated and feel I have absorbed positive energy😊
