What is a picture that represents the child you remember being ?

(That isn’t an actual photo of you). I always loved this gif, because it looks like me, the polite girl—at least to all appearances.

Aww she's so cute

Me and my friends...everything was about bicycles....

@fun4us2b I had a bicycle back in the day, with a banana seat.

@bijouxbroussard Yup and I guess they were called, High Rise Handlebars??? And of course, no helmets and the idea was to jump as many curbs as possible.....

@bijouxbroussard me too, it was a schwin stingray which I bought with my newspaper delivery boy money.

We cycled long distances, we went for hours and our moms never were worried 😄

@eyeno Me too. I think all bikes were made by Shwinn, I can't remember any other brands...

@fun4us2b I’m from Germany and there were those posh bikes called Bonanza but I grew up in a poor family and we couldn’t afford them. We had two bikes for four children at some point, which was sheer luxury. Before that, I cycled with the old bike of my dad in a strange fashion as I couldn’t reach the saddle.
They are like your Schwinns?

@Rickichickie yes, the very same style. Funny, the house across the street the grandkids (twin boy and girl) visited from Germany every summer for 2 weeks and we shared our bikes and played together....a nice memory I had forgotten...

@fun4us2b and you brought back the memories of endless cycling for me. Oh those carefree days
