Bought this vintage tuner Amp this afternoon but the power button doesn't work so it's always on and the lights for the tuner and meters don't work..

[image deleted]Kind of disappointed, they said that it was reconditioned and tested..

They have one more that I liked, it's upscale from this but twice the price..
I'm not thrilled about the brand though

That's a shame. Can you return it?
@PepsiColaP
Yes.. I called them to let them know that it's not working properly..
I'll take it back tomorrow..

I might take the other tuner but it's way more expensive. Maybe I can negotiate a deal but I'll check it out at the store first..
This is a nice amp.. but it's 35 years old so...
@Onestarlitnight yeah I'd negotiate and say some bullshit like how you live far and it was too much of a drive there and back if they don't know u so they feel bad and offer u a better price haha
@PepsiColaP
Actually it is pretty far from me..
They're asking 1000 for the other tuner..
If it works in the store I might offer 750.. maybe 800 max..
Or i might spend more time and shop around though good vintage equipment isn't easy to find.
@Onestarlitnight I hope they give you a good offer then!
@PepsiColaP
Same.. maybe they'll give me a break to make up for the bad experience
@PepsiColaP
I took it back and I'm trading it for the high end untit.. they gave me a great deal but it also needs some service.
I had them hook it up and it has a couple of minor issues wich they are going to have repaired .

@Onestarlitnight awesome,I'm so happy they did that for you
@PepsiColaP
I'm not going to have it for a couple of weeks while it's being serviced but I'm happy with it.
It's the absolute top of the line back in 1980.. the most powerful and advanced receiver that they ever produced.
