EVER READY SKY MASTER two-band portable, ca. 1964

Another one of those sets that, if anything, looks a bit older than it really is. It has a leatherette-finished wooden case, and a carry strap which has survived (not a given). It's been converted from PP7 power to AA.
A bugbear with these and some other sets of this vintage is that the transistors have been known to short out internally due to chemical changes 😶 But this one still works 🙂 It actually sounds quite good for the size - nice and mellow, doubtless because of the wooden case. The tuning isn't very sophisticated - there's no proper scale or dial, just a knob...
