What trinket do you never really use but still keep around? What makes you cherish it still?

I have a piece of labadorite I found in a thrift store a year or so ago. Later I had a date with a guy I met on the same day there. It didn't work out but maybe the piece is a sign that I shouldn't give up yet. :)
