He Went To His First Tool Trade Show Today…So Excited He Couldn’t Stop Talking About It….

Brought home 2 five-gallon buckets of small tools, tool pouches, cleaning wipes, catalogs, a blue tooth speaker, a metal water bottle, an insulated cup, snacks, a folding knife, multi-tools etc. And they fed him a good lunch. He wants to go back tomorrow. Spoke with some of the vendors but didn’t have time for everyone.

Trades are under rated and pay far better than people realize.
@NativePortlander1970 1000% agree...and if one has a trade, even if it's something like an electrician or plumber or gas fitter or anything and work in an oil field camp, mine etc...they make incredible money...they are the ones who can retire in their 40s if they play it right

@beermeplease a customer from work was in the coast gaurd,he had full retirement at 42
@Lilnonames pretty sure our coast guard/military service provides the same type of retirement package after 20 years of service. actually a friend of mine has a cousin who was in the us navy retired from that and then worked for the us post for a few years and collected 2 pensions

@beermeplease Knew someone who retired from the military, went to work at a commissary on a military base afterward, retired from that, and got a job working at the local state mental hospital and retired from that, also got Social Security.. He had 4 retirements, was pretty well off.
