I am glad I can be empathetic. I hate to see someone in a bad situation, even if I don't like them much. It just happens naturally, without efforts.
Some of my colleagues, they lack empathy big time. It doesn't matter how good you treat them, they will still wish for you to trip over (metaphorically), to laugh and gloat at you. Even at the silliest matters. They could exploit something so stupid to feel good about themselves.
I sincerely feel sorry for such behaviour. Such people are sad. They are stuck, and they don't have what it takes to change it. They can only complain, and they hate it when they see someone with positive energy. Working towards a goal, and or happy with their life.
