Proud To Be Rhodesian

I will be Rhodesian till my dieing day and try to be the best Rhodesian I can be . Sadly people see it as a weakness to be taken advantage of as we are friendly generous helpful people who will always help in any way we can .
This has happened to me to many times and since leaving my beautiful home life has not been kind . I really tried to live the best life I could and had kids I will always love . Sadly I have to failed marriages neither I can truly say was not my fault . Been taken advantage of many times and had my good name dragged through the mud once to often . I will always be proud of my Rhodesian heritage but sadly will never help or trust anyone again and will probably be single till my dieing day . Its a sad world when you have to shut yourself off from the world for your own sanity but that is what I have decided to do . So I will still be on SW but no more getting to know anyone near where I live or having close friends . That way no one can hurt me again .

@bijouxbroussard No Rhodesia was self sufficient well governed country and everything Zimbabwe isnt . Rhodesia no longer exists and never will again sadly . Zimbabwe sadly takes after its name sake sadly Zimbabwe Ruins. and its capital harare is as dirty as the slum it was named after .

@bijouxbroussard Agreed, but lets be clear when they white supremacy, it's not all whites that share in that supremacy. Most whites get a raw deal there too. Not as bad as the other races but still nothing to proud of either.

@Rhode57 I agree with you about Zimbabwe, it is shit. But what does that have to do with Rhodesia being great?
Germany and Russia are shit for a lot of people who live there too, but does that mean we have to bring back the USSR, East Germany or the Nazis?

@Wol62 Rhodesia was great and alot of black and white Rhodesians would agree . What Ian Smith tried to do was introduce blacks to government slowly so they could mentor them and thats what he was doing with Bishop Muzawera but britain interferred and wouldnt leave well alone . Smith and Muzarewa warned them what would happen and it did . The blacks werent ready . It was like giving a kid a money box of money and saying dont spend it on sweeties . Mugabe grab the wealth and spent it and bankrupt the country in six months .
