A mind blowing coincidence. Folks who know me well know I've been practicing Gratitude checks several years now.

So recently, I was looking into becoming a Reiki Master (A healing modality) and googled, "First step in becoming a Reiki Master" Lo and behold, I was advised, "Your first step is to cultivate and develop a daily attitude of GRATITUDE! Needless to say, I was blown away.

What I have learned along the way. Each day, I simply repeat aloud and randomly things I am grateful for, (Sometimes a few dozen, other times perhaps hundreds. Rather than an entire list for a specific time, I do them through the day, a few, or dozens at a time. I do them aloud. "I am grateful for Teresa Siller(RIP) I know I'll see you again on the other side" "I am grateful for the food I have on-hand and in storage" etc.

It takes about two weeks to become a hard-wired habit. The more I recite my daily gratitude check, the MORE I realize I have to be grateful for. It just grows, Other members have joined in and commented they are grateful for appreciating life so much more since starting. Zenni tells me, she is far more aware of so many things she is grateful for. Like a pebble tossed into a pond, it causes an ever- widening circle, it just keeps expanding, It keeps the focus on positivity. An exercise in wellness, a journey into happiness.
