What do yall think of construction work?

I may have a new job lined up. It's not really what I want but I want out of retail so bad and I'm hoping I'll get better pay and learn a trade

I'd feel lucky if my body could handle that. Even if I could, construction workers are always giving me creepy looks, so the last thing I need to be is a distraction on the site. It is an interesting field though.
