I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

In the day after Brexit, I am reading many comments of young Brits angry because old people 'have stolen their future'
Young people voted massively against Brexit, whereas elderly people supported it.
I wonder if this is not another movement of the system to divide population even more. Modern feminism has already made the gender gap bigger, perhaps they try now to create a hug generational gap?
Young people may have a longer future ahead of them, but older people have lived longer, seen more, and are harder to influence and manipulate.

I can relate to that problem here down under. Feminism, sexism, racism and all other stupid labels that blame and divide us. Especially the older generation. The amount of times I've heard the biast brainwashing carp my parents believe in on tv. I tell them to check different sides of the story online. "They are just terrorists plotting us to turn on the government." I tried to educate them with an open mind but they think because I am younger and let alone have autism, I'm seen as a child who's off with the fairies dad calls it. But I know deep down my soul is a lot more older than the souls of my parents. They still have a lot to learn. The question is do they want to?
