I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

In my experience, people on the political far-left rarely look deeply at the issues - they just react to what's on the surface. Homeless people are needy, give them money. I don't like what these people are saying, so lets try to silence them. The fact that silencing people's freedom of speech is part of a larger issue never even enters most of their brains.

Yes, they would serve us better, if the left, each time they did see an old lady, help her shop. If they see a poor person, to buy them a meal. Then day by day, people would come together and not be so divided by getting upset, getting so upset and doing nothing to help but upset and divide.

That's a good point - people on the left are so gung-ho about changing everything, but how often do they actually put their money where their mouths are and actually act to create that change, with more than just words?
