Am going to say something controversial

Why do majority of women feel they are INDEPENDENT but a partner should look after their needs,finances,holidays,clothes,etcetc ..I give you love sex but it's transactional for money ,cars,movies,vacations ..WHERES THE Independence NOW???? Shouldn't everything be equal.
