American Women love to brag about how they pay for half

At dinners or movies or the bills , like it’s some kind of brag or flex

But they still do all of the laundry, take care of the kids, cook, clean and do the dishes

Not a flex at all whatsoever

We were supposed to be progressing now we have financial independence aka we work full time and still do all the household chores 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 and got the audacity to brag about it

we're doing twice as much work as our ancestors were, and men still get treated like babies

This might sound fucked up but everyone I’ve tried to be with got lazier the less they felt up to speed with me, until they were nearly blobs sobbing on me. Like their mamas didn’t love them. I’m hoping it’s a generational thing. I make sure my boy knows he’s loved, but he sees me fight my own battles so he’s strong too. I don’t know what happened. I wish men felt stronger and more supported. I wish we could all do that for each other… I dunno what happened
