I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

Are we 100% certain that George Floyd’s heinous murder was because of his race? Or was psycho cop, just being a psychopath, regardless of the color of the victim’s skin? To me, this hasn’t been established. Everyone just assumed it was racial. The only one who knows for sure is the murderer. Only he knows what his motive was to take George’s life. Maybe we will find out at his trial, but until we do, I’m not convinced that this was racial. He had 18 previous complaints against him. If the media were proper journalists, we’d know what those complaints were, and who made them. We are missing information, and more people are dead because of the riots, and assumptions that it’s about race.

Even assuming it wasn't, a trained professional in police forces, in a first world country no less, shouldn't kill you unnecessarily. That alone would've caused at the very least a local protest, especially in a country where tension was already high.

The guy who got almost killed in Buffalo was white, and I assume has got a large media coverage too, since it was broadcasted even here in Europe where American protests are like the 3rd-4th story in the news every day.

@Carissimi Sure, just saying that even if the matter wasn't racial, you can't exclude there would've been dissent, protests or even riots, maybe just thematically different. This from an external point of view, I of course don't claim my opinion must necessarily match a potentially alternate reality.

@DestroyerOfIdeologies Have there been multiple cases matching the place and description? But yeah, the old guy who got violently pushed and had blood coming out of his head while incapacitated on the ground. I assumed he was dead at first.
