I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

That horrible block button allows all kind of weirdos to create a parallel world here in what they can puke all their non sense without being accountable for it and just be surrounded by their private applause cattle. Not really a healthy environment but I'm almost sure I see it completely wrong of course, those poor creatures need their special safe space, far away from the cruel real world. 🙄

You make a good point. That’s why I use “block” very sparingly. As horrifying as some people can be - I need to know they exist, and when I feel brave enough, I need to call them on their bullshit. Or at least, say, “I disagree,” so that they know they haven’t convinced everyone, and cannot take over the world with their bullshit.

It can be stressful some days. But in the long run, living in a bubble isn’t the safer option.
