I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

There are disfunctional families and abusing parents, but I will always support family.

There are inconsiderate and abusing teachers, but I will always support education.

There are pedophile priests, but I will always support Catholic Church.

There are bloodsheds and conquers my country did, but I always support my country.

Nobody is perfect, and every institution has its rotten apples, but also thousands of good people whose performance never gets headlines in our scavenging media.
Institutions have existed during centuries for a reason.

That’s not controversial, it’s just ignorant and naive. If you turn a blind eye to corruption and wrong doings within different institutions on the basis of optimism and what you want to believe, eventually they’re gonna fall apart....but I envy that you’ve never had experiences where you can feel empathy or perspective for the people suffering under those small “bad apples”.

@Insomniac100 Ohhh, empathy, of course the holy word had to come out. Which empathy are you showing to those who have searched for shelter in the Catholic church for 20 centuries (that's a bit longer than the time pedophilia scandals are going on). Sick and tired of bigots like you with such a selective 'empathy'.
