Kids don't need father's since tons grow up without one anyway and turn out just fine. They are like extra pieces you don't need but must be nice to have if you can get it.

Children need both parents, and, ideally, extended family as well. Yes, they can grow up with one parent and many do. But it is definitely better to have a dad assuming he is a responsible parent.

@St0ut Sadly, you've analyzed this perfectly.
It was good to see the protest, led by a black woman, against the greeting card titled "Baby Daddy" showing a black couple, leading to Target's ceasing selling the card. A father is important for what he does AFTER impregnation.
