I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

Just because you go to college doesn't mean you will be guaranteed anything after you graduate. More often than not there isn't a magical career opportunity waiting for you once you get your degree. Hell I graduated a long ass time ago and am still trying to make something happen.

You most likely will get stuck working some shit job you hate to pay down your student loans while frustrating yourself to death trying to land something in what you studied. You'll probably be making min wage at McDonalds like I did when I graduated because I couldn't get anything else and my time was ticking down to find a job to pay my loans back. Granted I've moved on from McDonalds a few years ago and have something a lot better paying but it's still miserable and not what I wanted.

Unless you know someone or are some fantastic whiz kid you will probably have to do what I did. What loads of people have done or are doing. I suggest everyone just lower their expectations after graduation or else you will find yourself losing all hope.
