We all want a better world where people can be safe and happy. We just can’t agree on what that looks like, and thats how people end up dead.

Not sure if you're right. Actually I think you are wrong. Fascists do not want a better world where people can be safe and happy. They see the world as a battlefield between higher and lower races.

@ArtieKat In fact fascists see the striving for a better world (where all people can be safe and happy) as an ideology constructed by the lower races, to weaken the strong ones.

@helenS Fascists do want people to be safe and happy. They’re just more selective about the term “people” than the rest of us.

@TheMinistry Agreed. Hitler wanted peace, too. Just that his version of "peace" was achieved through forceful removal of his enemies. The USA wanted "peace" with Native Americans. But that "peace" meant moving them somewhere else. Jim Crow laws were designed to bring about "peace" in the neighborhoods. Israel the same way - they want "peace" with Palestinians, but only under the condition that the Palestinians are subject to them. Us humans have a flawed premise, that we can achieve peace through killing or the suffering of others.
