Some left leaning people tend to forget the second amendment has NOTHING to do with hunting. It was created to guard against oppression. Your example is an excellent one. Here's a woman who almost became president with the view of "reeducating" people who oppose her view. It's been tried before.

The police do very little in the Seattle/King County area these days where I live. You never used to hear about shootings or home invasions. Now it's practically a daily occurrence.
