I carry a SIG228 .45 cal,on my person but I keep a desert eagle in the door pocket if I wanna put u away

I have never shot the eagle... I've "heard" it's horribly inaccurate... finally some one that owns one! How does it shoot?@LUVELACE:

I have had extensive work carried out on mine,from factory build it was heavy in the nose,so had it balanced,weight ratio,then got it gas suppressed to reduce recoil,after some fine tuning I can no hit the Chevrolet badge dead centre with minimal effort,or a beer can at 400 ft,and I have machine all my round,steel jacket teflon coated hollow point .50 just in case your wearing body armour your still going away n u ain't coming home

Sounds pretty and fun to shoot.

@Travelfun: we have a .50 AE. It is very heavy . Kicks like a mule but it's accurate . I have to use a rest to be able to hit anything . Killed a buck at 80 yards first weekend we had it ... I couldn't believe I hit it . Through and through shot

@LUVELACE: my
Most accurate shooting is with a G21. Full size .45 but it's too big for my purse. So I carry a G 23 . Mid size .40 .

@LUVELACE: Have you thought of getting a shoulder stock for the eagle.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@TexChik: Good choices all tex

@bhatjc: I like other brands of pistols , but I carry a glock because it fires no matter what
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@TexChik: That is true.
MedicFun · 46-50, M
@TexChik: But its a Glock....
TexChik · F
@Travelfun: and???
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@TexChik: nothing wrong with a glock.
TexChik · F
@bhatjc: I didn't think so
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@TexChik: I don't think so ether. John wick like them
MedicFun · 46-50, M
@TexChik: lol it's just so... Glock 😜 I know they are reliable etc... I just don't like them. Nothing against you I promise
TexChik · F
@Travelfun: they do take getting used to, but they are accurate and reliable . We have kimbers and Hks , but a glock won't jam where as the others do . For me it's peace of mind
MedicFun · 46-50, M
@TexChik: I have a close friend who is a peace officer, he shot and carried s/w wheel guns forever, now is a Glock guy. I've been a 1911 fan for most of my shooting life, I've been carrying a sig and an xdm (it's been worked). Still love my 1911's though

1911 John Browning best.
