The .40 caliber is a larger diameter and heavier bullet than the 9mm,.. 180gr vs 118 gr.., so it will bring more kinetic energy to the target . Making it more lethal

As for shooting the .40 kicks a little more, but in my hand is a little more accurate .

@TexChik I have shot both a 9mm and a .40 . The 40 felt better in my hand as well.

@bhatjc I am most accurate with a full size .45 . But it’s to big for concealed carry .
