Just glanced through an article on homemade black powder interesting idea. Powdered sugar in black powder, I never would have guessed that but I like the idea. Accessibility 👍

Mix together one-part saltpeter with one-part powdered sugar. This will give you a crude form of gunpowder. Real gunpowder contains saltpeter, sulfur, and charcoal. However, this home recipe should be more than enough for all your pyromaniacal needs
I don’t think I’d want to use it save for in an emergency... but it’s theoretically possible.

@2cool4school I meant powdered sugar as a binder. For the proper ingredients, but have since learned that many people use baked cornstarch as a binder as opposed to dextrin
