I Think Guns Don't Kill People ,people Kill People [Pro Gun]

"Inanimate Objects"

Guns, like all other inanimate objects such as cars, knives and clubs, do not just deiced to jump up and kill or injure someone. The hand gun in someone's night stand or the long gun in the coat closet by the door don't kill people. The same goes for the knife in the kitchen drawer or the car in the garage. The baseball bat in the locker room or the tire iron in the trunk are not murderers either. It takes human will and human hands to animate these lifeless and passive objects. What these objects do depends on the person using them and that individual's motives, intent and actions.

@unknownpoetx It's a nice article, but hardly dispositive. I can cite many others that show the direct relationship between gun ownership and lower amounts of violent crime.

@imLobo Are we talking about the same Harvard? Like the university in Cambridge Massachusetts?

You're saying Harvard University is in the NRA/Gun Industry's pocket?

@imLobo Do you realize the size of the Harvard endowment? Look it up online. It's over $30 billion. Harvard does not need anyone's money.

It's also about as liberal a place as you can imagine. They would never take money from gun manufacturers.

Trust me. I live in Boston.

@imLobo Well not those guys. Trust me, Harvard turns down money when they don't like the source.
