I Am Pro Choice

I am pro choice because I know what it is like to have a pregnancy unwanted. I also know how important it is for a woman to make any and all decisions, regarding her pregnancy, and why it should ALWAYS be between her and her doctor.

I just hate that it took me to know this in my early 20’s, when I should’ve known this truth, a long time ago. Sorry I was late.

I hate how people care so much for the fetus, who hasn’t been born, who they will not carry for 9 months, who they will not bring into life, who they will not pay for, and won’t give a damn for once it’s born.
If they truly did care for the life of a child, believe me they’d be doing much more for kids in the foster care systems, kids who face homelessness and poverty, children who are IN NEED, but most of them, don’t.
@Gigi01 Typically, the late George Carlin put it best:
“‘pre-born’ you’re good, preschool you’re f*cked !” 😒

@Gigi01 with that in mind , being responsible enough to avoid getting pregnant is a much better plan than killing a child . 🤷🏻‍♀️

You have a point, but you are disregarding the fact that some woman are raped and end up pregnant, and some carry a high risk pregnancy for both themselves and the baby.
It also shouldn’t be any of our business what they end up deciding to do

@TexChik Yep, that 11 year old girl in Ohio who is potentially going to be forced to carry her rapist's baby to term should have been more responsible.

@Gigi01 people who are pro choice always mention that ... but no one ... I mean no one would complain about a woman who was raped aborting ... same for incest, birth defect , or health of the mother . Unfortunately it’s become so convenient to kill a child that there is a market for their body parts . It’s so convenient that 1.3 million die each year . How many Einstein’s or cures for cancer have been destroyed before they had a chance to live ?

@TexChik
I have met many people, who have
TexChik · F
[big][/big] @Gigi01 I know ... I have too . I would much prefer free morning after pills than abortions

@LookingForIt987 She was probably dressed provocatively and deserved it.
That case just blows my freaking mind.

It doesn’t matter what the reason is, if she feels that abortion is the best decision, then she should always have that right. It is her responsibility to choose what is best for her body.

If you don’t like abortion, then don’t have one. If you believe abortion is wrong, then you have that right, to believe what you want. But that’s not whatever everybody believes.

@NaturalBeautyQueen unfortunately it’s not her body she wants to kill , is it? Being too pathetic to take simple precautions to avoid a pregnancy but all too eager to have the child killed .... completely pathetic

If any woman went the hell and torture that I’ve gone through, in all 3 of my pregnancies, I wouldn’t hold it against her, if she decided to have an abortion. Whether you like it or not, it is her body. @TexChik
NaturalBeautyQueen · 41-45, F
@TexChik that’s actually not true. I know a good handful of jerks that would force a woman to stay pregnant, after she’s been raped. I also know of a good handful who victim blamed, women who chose to have an abortion, because of rape.

Ah yes, when somebody can’t make a cogent argument, they resort to name calling. Because that’s the best way to make your point. Never mind that i brought up the girl in Ohio before you brought up the (false) point that no one thinks that way.

Yet despite “no one” thinking that way, that sure seems to be what the asshole legislators in Ohio put into the law. https://614now.com/2019/news/gov-politics/op-ed-heartbeat-bill-already-affecting-11yo-ohio-rape-victim So tell me again how no one thinks that way...

So, tell me what precautions the 11 year old should have taken?
